Nepal scotland association (NSA) NSA was established since 2004. We have been involved in various projects around Leith and Edinburgh area, such as earthquake relief project, Scottish climate change project and organizing various annual Nepali cultural programs with the local and other ethnic minorities’ community. The aim is to work in partnership to promote our as well as other culture, identities, and inclusion and collaborate for the success around Edinburgh. We aim to provide a platform to young people to participate in cultural program and sports to create a healthier community and we promote Nepali language/dance and culture to local people. We do free entry to all in our Nepali language and dance classes so it helps to keep good relation between communities around.d Association .
OBJECTIVES: The objectives of the Charity are as follows: To promote health, education and social welfare of the beneficiaries in Scotland, through the provision of information, advice and support services; To preserve and advance cultural and religious identities of beneficiaries in Scotland. To promote good relations between the beneficiaries in Scotland and people from other communities. To promote health, education and livelihood of beneficiaries in Nepal by encouraging and assisting people & organizations across Scotland to support projects in Nepal
NSA History
Nepal scotland association NSA was established since 2004. We are the oldest and first charity organisation of Scotland. It is formed to promote health, education and social welfare of the beneficiaries in Scotland, through the provision of information, advice and support services, to preserve and advance cultural and religious identities of beneficiaries in Scotland, to promote good relations between the beneficiaries in Scotland and people from other communities, to promote health, education and livelihood of beneficiaries in Nepal by encouraging and assisting people & organizations across Scotland to support projects in Nepal.
As per Record of NSA establishment; The persons whose names and signatures appear below are authorised by the inaugural meeting ot tho Assoclatlon held on 5 January 2004 to act as the first members of the Management Committee and they shall have all the powers of the Management Committee as if they had been elected.
